Arogtrifla’s Amlaki is the best herb for Rasayana / anti-oxidant effect. Jara Hara / anti-aging, Tridosha balancing, Pancha-rasa / has five tastes, is specially mentioned by Charaka to be effective against Prameha / Diabetes and Urinary Tract. Amalaki has high amounts of Vitamin C for healing ulcers and inflammations in the intestinal lining. This is the best healing and anti-aging due to the overall antioxidant strength derived from its high density of emblicanin, punigluconin and pedunculagin. Haritaki is proven to reduce cholesterol and body weight. Overall Triphala detoxifies the digestive system, regulates metabolism, improves blood circulation promotes bile secretion, and reduces weight and cholesterol.

Chitraka / Plumbago zeylanicum is of hot Veerya and Grahi / Styptic. This helps eliminate toxins, anti-Kapha Vata, and antidiarrhoeal. This is effective in reducing pus, blood, and mucus mixed diarrhea in patients with Colitis ulcerosa.

Garcinia detoxifies the liver and is used as Sthoulyahara / Anti-obesity due to its sour taste and hot Veerya.

The extract of Guggul / Balsamodendron mukul has been in use for 3000 years for reducing obesity, as well as in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, sciatica, and high cholesterol due to its dry, hot, light properties.

Dosage :
1 tablet twice a day after meals with warm water; Should not be taken continuously for more than 2 -3 months.
